     • This information is typically required to provide services, confirm eligibility for no-cost training, issue certificates/transcripts, and communicate about events.
   • Automatically Collected Information
     • Standard web server logs: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, referring pages, date/time of access, pages visited, and duration of visit.
     • This data is used for website security, performance analysis, technical troubleshooting, and aggregate statistics (e.g., number of visitors). No attempts are made to identify individual users except in cases of suspected unauthorized activity or for authorized law enforcement investigations.
   • Cookies and Similar Technologies
     The Site may use session cookies or similar technologies for functionality (e.g., maintaining login sessions, remembering preferences).    • Monitor and secure the Site, detect/prevent unauthorized access or abuse.

   We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share information only as necessary:
   • With authorized Washington National Guard, National Guard Bureau, or Department of Defense personnel for program administration.
   • With training instructors, host facilities, or partner agencies when required for course logistics (e.g., rosters, attendance).
   • If required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or valid law enforcement request.
   • To protect the rights, property, or safety of WRCTC, the National Guard, users, or the public.
   Personal information collected via this Site may be part of a Privacy Act system of records. If applicable, a System of Records Notice (SORN) will describe routine uses. Access to records is governed by the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a).

This includes monitoring for unauthorized attempts to upload/change information (prohibited under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and related laws).    We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Server logs are destroyed in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration schedules.
