Mission and Operational Planning (Mission Planning)

Course Description:This highly experiential course is essential for law enforcement, criminal analysts, and
community partners seeking to enhance the safety and effectiveness of their counter-narcotics operations.
By applying proven military planning tools like Troop Leading Procedures (TLPs) and the Tactical Decision
Making Process (TDMP), you will learn to master information, time, and risk management under both
deliberate and time-constrained conditions. Through hands-on guidance, you will develop and brief
comprehensive Operations Orders (OPORDs) and lead effective After-Action Reviews (AARs), ensuring
your team can execute any mission with precision, confidence, and a foundational focus on officer safety.

Prerequisites: Computer with Microsoft Office, internet access
